SGRoutes blog is a collection of long-distance running routes in Singapore, for sharing with fellow runners who are looking to explore new routes. Despite Singapore being a small country, there are still a few nice locations that we can string together into a long-distance running route. At the end of the day, as runners, we cherish running routes that have any of these qualities: |
- Undisrupted route - a route with few momentum-breaking traffic stops.
- Peaceful route - a route with low human/vehicle traffic and low ambience noise.
- Shaded/cool route - a route with rows of trees lined up for shade.
- Scenic route - a route through parks, dams, and feel-good scenes that help us forget the fatigue.
- Accessible route - a route where start and end points are accessible via public transport.
- Photographic route - a route that allow us to take splendid team photos for memories and blogs.
- Well-supported route - a route with convenient access to drink points, washrooms and rest stops.
